 On-Demand Digital Manufacturer Fathom Goes Public
Upon its completion of a business combination with Altimar Acquisition Corp. II, Fathom Digital Manufacturing, which includes metal AM in its portfolio, has announced that it has gone public, with the company listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) as FATH. Fathom was a privately held portfolio company of Core Industrial Partners, a Chicago, IL- based private equity firm focused on investing in and growing middle-market manufacturing, industrial technology and industrial services businesses. Core will remain the largest shareholder in the combined business.
Fathom will continue to be led by Ryan Martin, chief executive officer, Mark Frost, chief financial officer, Rich Stump, chief commercial officer, and TJ Chung, board chair.

Sigma Labs’ PrintRite3D QA Software Certified for Acronity3D AM Machines
Sigma Labs, Inc. announced that its PrintRite3D in-process quality-assurance software is certified to work with Aconi- ty3D’s line of 3D metal printers, and is available as a standard option via Aconi- ty3D’s online configurator. As such, Aconity3D will designate its printers as ‘PrintRite3D Ready,’ and Aconity3D will sell, install and support PrintRite3D as an integrated solution to its customers.
Aconity3D, a manufacturer for 3D metal printing machines, focuses on the buildup of customer-specific systems for
laser powder-bed fusion. Aconity3D cus- tomers and partners include industrial, aviation and automotive companies, as well as institutions and universities.
