Trumpf Inc. is a Leading Manufacturer of Laser Technology for Industrial Use in North America
When it comes to additive manufactur- ing, Trumpf provides users with both laser metal fusion (LMF) and laser metal depo- sition (LMD) solutions. For the industrial- ization of 3D metal printing, Trumpf offers a complete solution including digitaliza- tion, services and additive production sys- tems. Whether it is medical devices and implants, dental applications, tooling in- serts with conformal cooling channels, or energy turbine parts, Trumpf’s portfolio of additive manufacturing systems enables users to 3D print reliable and high-quality applications.
Trumpf’s TruPrint 1000 is the compact and robust 3D printing machine that offers all the benefits of additive manufacturing. This turnkey solution can process many different metals and can be used for the generative production of small industrial single parts, series or prototypes. With the multilaser option, you also can achieve an increase in productivity of up to 80 percent while still maintaining process flexibility.
The TruPrint 3000 is a universal medium-format machine for industrial pro- duction, with a large build volume of 300 mm dia. 400 mm height. Even complex shapes can be quickly and easily con- verted from the CAD design to a 3D metallic component—and with top quality. External part and powder management ensures the utmost efficiency and process safety, as it is possible to run production, unpack, and prepare for a new build job in parallel.
Trumpf’s highly productive, partially au- tomated TruPrint 5000 provides the ideal basis for industrial series production. With optional features, including 500°C-pre- heating and the full-field multilaser with three 500-watt T fiber lasers, users are equipped to handle even the most demanding industrial applications. The machine quickly and reliably manu- factures high-quality components from a range of different metal materials, all while

meeting the stringent quality requirements for tool and mold making, the aviation and aerospace industry, and the medical tech- nology sector. Combined with external part and powder management and the monitoring solutions from Trumpf, it is pre- destined for industrial additive series pro- duction.
Industrial Part and Powder Manage- ment allows users to take advantage of setup and powder removal for one or more machines, all parallel to production. Short throughput times for large powder volumes and a closed powder circuit pro-
vide a high degree of productivity and op- erator safety. The central components of the sieving station, powder removal sta- tion and powder silo provide the basis for series production on an industrial scale.
