Markforged Releases Superalloy for 3D Printing
October 14, 2019Markforged, a Watertown, MA-based provider of metal and carbon fiber 3D printers, has announced that Inconel 625 nickel-based super alloy is available with the Markforged Metal X system. Highly resistant to corrosion and high temperatures, harsh-environment applications for the material include aerospace, mining and chemical processing. The Metal X bound powder extrusion process combines metal injection molding and fused filament fabrication technologies to create complex metal parts.
