Navy to Use 3D Printing to Expand Supply Chain
July 11, 2018The U.S. Navy is expanding the naval supply chain and developing efficiencies through the utilization of additive manufacturing (AM), which has the ability to transform how the Navy produces aircraft and ship parts.
The NAVSUP WSS team of engineers and contracting specialists plan to have a draft AM guidebook completed by the end of this year that will advance technologies and innovation.
