German Auto Parts Maker Commits to 3D with Help of EOS
January 15, 2018EOS, the global supplier of 3D-printing solutions, with technical centers in Novi, MI, and Pflugersville, TX, announced its collaboration with Continental, the German auto parts maker, which purchased several EOS M 290 systems. Continental is investing in industrial 3D printing as a production technology. The company is deploying the EOS systems to produce metal components directly from CAD data in series and has received support from EOS in installing the systems, training employees, developing applications, and launching manufacturing capacities.
